It's been quite a while since I have done a FOTD style post. and I really liked my makeup today, so I thought that I would share it with you. For once, it is all drugstore makeup, so all the products are affordable and work really well.
[Btw, it's a very photo heavy blog post!]

Today, I felt like doing a chatty style post, and this has been on my to-do list (blog-wise) for a while, so here it goes.

We all have those certain products that we never stray from, whether they are expensive or cheap.
Today, I thought I would share my top five products that I always repurchase, and always have in my product collection.

Recently, I have been obsessed with going into River Island and browsing the sale racks. It's mainly because I want to buy this style of faux leather skirt in every pattern/colour that I like! They are so comfy to wear, and look great with everything I already own. I have 4 of them, from 3 different shopping trips, and I wanted to show you all them, as I think they are perfect summer-to-autumn-to-winter skirts.

I am currently trying to eat healthier and actually eat three meals per day, which is something I find hard to do. I am still doing a blog post all about the reasoning behind my 'lifestyle change', but I thought that I would share with you another recipe, which is great for both lunch & dinner.

As I am going into my third & final year of university, I have come to realise that I don't have a work space that inspires me, in my university house bedroom. I have a desk and plenty of wall space around me, it just is cluttered in stuff that doesn't inspire me. I decided that when I go back, I am going to try & create a more inspiring (& less cluttered) space for me to work in.
So off to Pinterest I went, for some inspiration, which gave me some great ideas for my work space, and I thought that I would share them with you all.

First of all, I would like to say sorry for not uploading something everyday, like I said I would for #BEDA. Last week was such a busy week for me personally, so I only got chance to upload twice in that whole week! To make up for it, I will be uploading twice a day for the rest of this week.

The first post for today is a book wishlist. I really love to read, but hardly have time to with all my university work, as that has to take priority. Some of my favourite kinds of books are design/fashion/art books, as they are great fun to read, but also helpful for my course.
Here is my current wishlist of books that I would love to purchase.

Naked Smoky Palette £38.00 Debenhams

Unless you have been living under a rock these past few weeks, then you know that there has been a new addition to the Naked palette family. I couldn't stop myself from buying it, as I love wearing a smoky eye, which is clearly as good enough reason to spend money!

Recently, I have been trying to eat healthier and actually eat breakfast, which is something I never really ate. So today, I thought that I would show you my granola recipe, which is actually making me enjoy eating breakfast for once!

By the way, I will be doing a blog post all about the reasons why I am changing my eating & lifestyle habits, later on this week, so keep a look out for that.

AVON Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner in Simply Spice £6.00

Recently, I have been sorting out my makeup collection, and I realised that I don't own many lip liners! Lip liners are great for helping lipstick to last longer and to slightly alter the shape of your lips. I remembered that I used to really like the AVON lip liners, so I thought that I would give them another go.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter £13.00

I have to admit that I am not one of those people who like to take their makeup off at night. I do it because I have to, so I try to find products that are quick and effective. I have dry/dehydrated skin, so I didn't want something that dries it out too much, but something that still removed my makeup in one go. I decided to try this cleansing butter from The Body Shop, and fell in love with it. I am now on my third tin, and I have recently realised that I have never reviewed it on here.
So, here is why I love this cleansing butter so much!

Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Dry Shampoo £5.24 Boots

Dry Shampoo is an essential for me.
Because I bleach/colour my hair, I try to limit the amount of times a week I wash it, as I don't want it to fade. This is where the dry shampoo comes in. Using dry shampoo on the days when my hair looks greasy, helps me to not have to wash it for another day.
Recently, I have been trying out the Fudge Urban dry shampoo, to see if it even compares to my beloved COLAB dry shampoo, which is a firm favourite of mine.

A Sephora wishlist for you today!
It seems that I am all about the highlighters and lip products at the moment, as that is what is mainly on this wishlist. The main reason I was on Sephora browsing is that I really want the new Becca skin perfector in Champagne Pop, as it is such a stunning colour.
So tempted to make an order soon!

Today, I thought I would give my hometown some focus on my blog, as it does have some amazing places to eat/drink in it. Eating out or going for drinks is something I love to do with my friends, so I thought that I would share with you my top five places.

After years of straightening my hair, I have finally started to let my curls free. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, but I used to hate it, so I straightened it to death! Recently, I have tried the bed-head grungy look with my hair, so I decided to try out a salt/texturising spray to help to perfect this look. I decided to try out the BLEACH London Swamp Spritz, as I already love their hair mask and they are an easy brand to get a hold of in Boots.

You have a full wardrobe, yet you can't find anything to wear.
We've all been there.
For me, this happens every couple of months, normally around the time I am wanting to try new trends/reinvent my style. So, when this does happen, I have a few things I do to help re-inspire my style & wardrobe.

If you are a shoe addict like me, you have tons of shoes, but only a select few that you seem to wear all the time (well, until you get bored of them/they break/or it's not the right season for them!).
Today, I am showing you my current favourite five pairs of shoes, that I own.

For the first #BEDA post, I thought I would do a wishlist of homeware items, that I am currently lusting after. I'm not decorating my 'home' bedroom until I finish University next year, and I don't really need to redo my University house bedroom, but I just can't help myself when it comes to home decor!
Looking at this wishlist, it seems that I am currently obsessed with copper tones and art prints!

Hey guys!
I can't believe July is already over! So many fun things happened in July, like my weekend in London and a lot of drunken nights out with my friends, so I have high hopes for August!
Anyway, I am writing this little update as I am planning on doing #BEDA (Blogging EveryDay in August)! I normally blog 2/3 times a week, but I thought I would challenge myself to try to post something everyday, including the weekends. It will range from long, chatty posts to short wishlists etc, just like my blog does already.
I hope you guys will enjoy #BEDA, and if it goes well, I might do #Blogmas again.
(Did I really just mention Christmas!?)
