Contouring and highlighting are so popular now, that I am not surprised that Real Techniques have released a brush set to help you achieve the contoured/highlighted look. This set is a Collector's Edition, which means that this set is limited edition and that the brushes have a unique pink metallic/chrome finish, instead of the normal pink handles. This set contains 3 brushes, two from the permenant range and one that is a set exclusive.
After years of dyeing and bleaching my hair tons of different colours, my hair can feel dry and brittle, which means I need a hair mask that hydrates it back into soft, gorgeous-looking hair. For a while, I have been using this hair mask from BLEACH London, and I thought that it was about time I reviewed it for you.
Rituals is a brand that not many people seem to talk about. I don't understand why though, as there products are amazing! The brand is all about making everyday routines into indulgent moments, through the products. The product I am reviewing today is the Ayurveda Body Scrub in Indian Rose & Multani Clay.
As a present for my mum's birthday (and because I wanted to go to the Alexander McQueen exhibition), I treated us both to a trip to London. We left very early on Saturday morning, and came back early evening on Sunday. We managed to fit in shopping, trip to the V&A and browsing the streets of Kensington/Chelsea area.

Disclaimer - I am not a professional hairdresser. Dyeing your hair at home can go wrong, and these colours will not be bright on all hair colours. If you don't feel confident, go to a salon, like I normally do. This was just a test, recommended by my hairdresser, so that I could keep my colour lasting longer between appointments. Please remember that results will vary based upon your hair tone, if you decided to try this.
Well, this is something new for me. I have always had my hair professionally dyed, since I started dyeing it when I was 12. But, my hair has been fading a lot faster recently because of the sun, and my next hair appointment isn't until September. My hairdresser recommended this hairdye for me to do at home, to refresh the colour, whilst I am waiting for my next appointment.
So, this is how I used it, plus a full review of the dye.
I'm off to London this weekend with my mother, and I am staying overnight for a night. So, I thought that I would show you what I am packing for the two days/one night. I am going to London to see the Alexander McQueen exhibition at The V&A, and to spoil my mum, as it is nearly her birthday.
Before I start showing you, I would like to say that I will be updating my instagram all weekend with pictures of my trip. Also, I am taking over My Student Style's instagram account for the weekend too. Follow both to see what I am up to!
Avaliable from Boots and Soap & Glory website. £13.00
As the weather was warming up, I thought it was time to try a new moisturiser. I was looking for something lighter than my winter moisturiser, but something that would still hydrate my dry/dehydrated skin. I came across this new moisturiser from Soap & Glory, and I thought that it would be perfect for my skin.
First of all, I am not a makeup artist. I do not have any makeup qualifications, I just love makeup and trying out new products/techniques.
Contouring has been a huge makeup trend for a quite a while now, so it's about time something new came along. Strobing is all about using light on its own, instead of shading/highlighting, to shape the face. A lot of different makeup terms get thrown around and it can end up being very confusing. However, strobing is actually something most people could do.
When anyone asks me about makeup brushes and what brand to buy, I always recommend Real Techniques. Real Techniques is a fantastic brushes brand, created by the very talented Pixiwoo sisters. The brushes come in sets and individuals, ranging from base to eye brushes. Recently, they also branched out into a more high-end/professional styled range called Bold Metals, which are all sold individually.
I've been having a browse online recently, as I seem to be a bit bored of my current wardrobe. Luckily, it's sale season! So I thought I would create a summer sale wishlist. It seems that I am currently in a black & white mood, especially stripes! Haha! Saying that, I am always in a monochrome mood, since most of my wardrobe is black, white & grey!
Anyway, here is what I am currently lusting after.
The glorious summer weather is finally here in the UK, so I thought that I would share my summer staples with you. These are beauty and fashion items I couldn't live without, when the warmer weather starts to appear. Of course, these are personal preferences, and there are other summer essentials that I haven't mentioned.
So, grab a glass of pimms and enjoy the sunshine whilst you read this!
