Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic £15.50 Boots
Over the years, I have struggled with finding the correct toner for my skin. I used to use an astringent on my t-zone during my teenage years, to help combat the oils on my (then) combination skin type. As I have got older, my skin has become drier, so I didn't need to use such a strong toner anymore. For a while, I didn't use any toner, until I came across this one from Liz Earle, after using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for over two years. Since my teenage years, I have also gained Melasma on my face, and I try to use products with natural ingredients or products that I know don't inflame my skin. This toner appealed to me because of the natural ingredients it contains.

This toner is made from natural ingredients and contains no alcohol, which suited my sensitive skin more, compared to other toners I have used in the past that do contain alcohol. I have found that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry either, but instead leaves a light moisturising layer. As I have dry skin, using products that leave my skin moisturised are so much better. It does have a slight scent to it, but it isn't over-powering.

The packaging is simple and beautiful. It has the traditional Liz Earle pale green colouring, which looks pretty on any dressing table or bathroom shelf. The cap is a twist-style cap, which twists up to reveal a small hole. I personally like this style of cap, as I can place a cotton pad on top, and then dispense the amount I want, without wasting any product. For others that don't like this style cap, I believe there is a spray version. I am not 100% sure though.

I use this toner once a day, in the morning, after using my cleanser and before applying moisturiser. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised, smooth and gives a slight glowy look. I have also noticed that it has helped to sooth my Melasma. I'm no skin expert, so I can't say if this product is amazing for every skin that has Melasma, but it has helped mine.

Overall, this toner has become a staple in my skincare routine. I would 100% repurchase this toner, as it works well on my dry skin, and doesn't inflame my Melasma.
Another winning product from Liz Earle!

What do you think about this product?
Also, if you have Melasma, what are your go-to skincare products?

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser £20.00 Boots

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is one of those cult blogger/MUA products, that always pops up in blog posts and/or in Youtube videos. It's been on my list of products to try for a long time (thanks to Pixiwoo), so I decided to pick it up last month, as I needed a new facial moisturiser.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter £13.00

I have to admit that I am not one of those people who like to take their makeup off at night. I do it because I have to, so I try to find products that are quick and effective. I have dry/dehydrated skin, so I didn't want something that dries it out too much, but something that still removed my makeup in one go. I decided to try this cleansing butter from The Body Shop, and fell in love with it. I am now on my third tin, and I have recently realised that I have never reviewed it on here.
So, here is why I love this cleansing butter so much!

Avaliable from Boots and Soap & Glory website. £13.00

As the weather was warming up, I thought it was time to try a new moisturiser. I was looking for something lighter than my winter moisturiser, but something that would still hydrate my dry/dehydrated skin. I came across this new moisturiser from Soap & Glory, and I thought that it would be perfect for my skin.

Today, I am showing you how I get myself summer ready. This whole routine is something I do every Sunday in the summer, as I couldn't do everything in the video everyday. It would take me hours to get ready everyday!
This GRWM doesn't include a summer make up look or any summer fashion, as next Monday, I will be posting a summer make up look and the Friday after that, I will be posting a summer lookbook.

So enjoy this video of how I get my body, skin and hair ready for summer.
FYI, I am as pale as Casper the Friendly Ghost and I like it that way, so no fake tan for me!

Over the past few years, I have tried so many different products to keep my skin at its best. About a year and 1/2 ago, I did have a perfect routine for my combination skin. However, I am coming out of my teenage years now and my skin type has changed to dry with slight oily patches on occasion, which is less oil than before. So, I had to work out a new routine to work with my skin, which will help to keep it hydrated.
I feel like I have a good routine at the moment but I am always willing to try new things! There are a few golden products in my routine, but if you have any recommendation for dry skin, then leave a comment.
I have been using this routine for a good 2/3 months now (apart from 1), so I can give you a honest review of these products.

My Avon order arrived yesterday and I also went on a mini shopping spree for a new skincare product range, new laptop and other bits on Saturday.

From Avon, I ordered a limited edition case SuperSHOCK mascara (£5 normally £8.50) in black. I am a huge fan of this mascara and the new case is beautiful for summer. I am going to do a review in a later blog post since this is the 3rd time I have used this mascara. The other item I ordered was the Clearskin blackhead clearing daily astringent (£2 normally £4). This was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it whilst it was half price in the catalogue. I can't wait to try it with my other new skincare products.

On Saturday 20th April 2013, I also purchased a few goodies whilst I was in the city centre buying my new laptop (which I am currently typing on!). I firstly went into a poundshop. I purchased some random pieces for my 'moving to lincoln' collection, which I am not going to talk about, and a new set of exfoliating gloves. I love using these when I am in the bath/shower as the tops of my arms have a rash/ezcema on them, so these help to reduce the rash by buffing the dead skin away. I just loved the fact that one is spotty and one is plain so that you can differentiate between each hand.
