Avon order and mini haul.
My Avon order arrived yesterday and I also went on a mini shopping spree for a new skincare product range, new laptop and other bits on Saturday.
From Avon, I ordered a limited edition case SuperSHOCK mascara (£5 normally £8.50) in black. I am a huge fan of this mascara and the new case is beautiful for summer. I am going to do a review in a later blog post since this is the 3rd time I have used this mascara. The other item I ordered was the Clearskin blackhead clearing daily astringent (£2 normally £4). This was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it whilst it was half price in the catalogue. I can't wait to try it with my other new skincare products.
Primark was my next stop to pick up a pair of white pilmsoles. These are a staple for me when it is warm as I am not a huge fan of getting my feet out. These go with most outfits and are super comfortable. Plus £3 for a pair of shoes is a bargain.
On Saturday 20th April 2013, I also purchased a few goodies whilst I was in the city centre buying my new laptop (which I am currently typing on!). I firstly went into a poundshop. I purchased some random pieces for my 'moving to lincoln' collection, which I am not going to talk about, and a new set of exfoliating gloves. I love using these when I am in the bath/shower as the tops of my arms have a rash/ezcema on them, so these help to reduce the rash by buffing the dead skin away. I just loved the fact that one is spotty and one is plain so that you can differentiate between each hand.

Finally, I ventured into Boots to buy a new skincare range as my current one, which I have been using for years, is now having a reaction to my skin. Personally, my skintype has changed since I was in my early teens, so I thought that it was time for my skin to enjoy something new. Just to clarifiy, I used to have dry skin and now I have combination skin.
I thought I would try the S0oap and Glory Skin care range as I have heard a lot of good things about these products.
The products I purchased were
- face soap and Clarity 3-in-1 daily detox vitimin C facil wash with superfruit plum.
- Feel Good Factor SPF25 amazing everyday facial moisture lotion
- The Fab Pore 15 minute intensive action pore refining facial peel.
I am really excited to try these products and I will post a review in a couple of weeks to see if my skin has improved. I have been using them for two days now, along with the Avon astergent and my Johnston make up wipes/Simple eye make up remover, and I have started to see a slight inprovement.
Has anyone else used these Soap and Glory products before? Any recomendations or comments?
Anyway, that was all for this mini haul. A mascara review and skincare review will be coming soon, along with a new skincare routine post and a review of the TV programme 'The great British sewing bee'.
Bye
xx
