This is a wishlist of different makeup products I want from Boots. I will be doing more of these from different shops for fashion/skincare/makeup etc every so often.

Today, I went to Boots as I ran out of a few of my basic toiletries. I needed to buy some face wipes, eye makeup remover and deodorant. I stuck to my normal face wipes and eye makeup remover but tried a different deodorant to what I am currently using. I tend to change my deodorants often, as my skin gets too used to some products, therefore they stop working as well as they should.
My typical face wipes are the Johnson's face care Daily essentials oil balancing facial cleansing wipes. These are for combination skin and they are very good at taking off the majority of my make up. I usually then use eye makeup remover and cleanse, tone and moisturise my face. These face wipes are £3.29. They are slightly rough in texture, but I don't mind this as I clean my face afterwards.

My eye makeup remover is the Simple Kind to eyes, eye makeup remover. I love this product so much! I have always used this, ever since I started to properly wear heavy eye makeup. Every eye makeup comes off easily with this stuff, even waterproof mascara. It is great for sensitive eyes/skin as it doesn't irritate them and it is cheap! It is £3.39 in Boots.

Today, I went into town to shop for a few things for my Final Major Project. Whilst I was in town, I nipped into Boots at I had a £3 off voucher for No7 make up. I needed a new foundation as my Avon one is nearly empty. I choose No7 because I wanted to try out the Match Made service for No7 Foundations. These links are all about it.

I found the process quick, easy and very helpful. I would recommend doing the Match made service as it makes sure that you buy the right shade and type of foundation for your skin, a problem that many women have.

I found out that I am the lightest shade (which is no surprise!) which is called Calico. I purchased the Beautifully Matte foundation as it is made for skin that is oily and the consultant said that a lot of young people wear it. It is normally £12.95 but I paid £9.95 with my voucher. I am planning on doing an in-depth review once I have worn it a few times.

I did a little bit of shopping today, woops! So, let's get started and go through my new purchases!

Firstly, I went to Office and purchased a new pair of Converse. I wanted a new pair for the summer and this olive green colour will go with loads of things in my wardrobe. So excited to start styling these up! They were £44.99 but Office had a 15% discount on in-store, so I got them for £38.24.

I then went to Topshop and purchased three pairs of lace topped socks and a new cropped jumper. The socks were in the three for £8 deal and the jumper was in the sale for £18. However, I used my student discount card and got 10% off them.
The socks each have lace on the top. Black socks with black lace, white socks with white lace and olive socks with cream lace.
The jumper has really long sleeves and is cropped. The colour is a dark red/burgundy. I think my new converse are going to look really good with the jumper too. It's super soft and comfortable.

My Avon order arrived yesterday and I also went on a mini shopping spree for a new skincare product range, new laptop and other bits on Saturday.

From Avon, I ordered a limited edition case SuperSHOCK mascara (£5 normally £8.50) in black. I am a huge fan of this mascara and the new case is beautiful for summer. I am going to do a review in a later blog post since this is the 3rd time I have used this mascara. The other item I ordered was the Clearskin blackhead clearing daily astringent (£2 normally £4). This was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it whilst it was half price in the catalogue. I can't wait to try it with my other new skincare products.

On Saturday 20th April 2013, I also purchased a few goodies whilst I was in the city centre buying my new laptop (which I am currently typing on!). I firstly went into a poundshop. I purchased some random pieces for my 'moving to lincoln' collection, which I am not going to talk about, and a new set of exfoliating gloves. I love using these when I am in the bath/shower as the tops of my arms have a rash/ezcema on them, so these help to reduce the rash by buffing the dead skin away. I just loved the fact that one is spotty and one is plain so that you can differentiate between each hand.

Wow, first ever blog post! So I thought I would start off with a haul.

Last Wednesday, I went on a solo shopping trip to buy a new sketchpad and bus pass for uni. This then led me on to spending the last bit of birthday money that I had.

Firstly, I went to Superdrug and purchased 3 Barry M nail polishes.

I got a clear basecoat/topcoat/nail hardner 3-in-one polish (£2.99), a nail paint in the colour 318 Peach Melba (£2.99) and a Gelly Hi Shine nail paint in the colour GNP 2 Blackberry (£3.99). It was a 3 for 2 offer so it came to £6.98 for all three.

Then I went to Boots because I had a £2 off any mascara/lipstick voucher. I purchased a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in a beige/pink/nude colour called 08.

Then to finish off my mini shopping haul, I went to Primark. I purchased a vest top (£2.50), shower cap (£1.50), backcombing brush (£1.00) and french polish fake nails (£1.00).
