Quick toiletries haul. 06/06/13
Today, I went to Boots as I ran out of a few of my basic toiletries. I needed to buy some face wipes, eye makeup remover and deodorant. I stuck to my normal face wipes and eye makeup remover but tried a different deodorant to what I am currently using. I tend to change my deodorants often, as my skin gets too used to some products, therefore they stop working as well as they should.
My typical face wipes are the Johnson's face care Daily essentials oil balancing facial cleansing wipes. These are for combination skin and they are very good at taking off the majority of my make up. I usually then use eye makeup remover and cleanse, tone and moisturise my face. These face wipes are £3.29. They are slightly rough in texture, but I don't mind this as I clean my face afterwards.
My eye makeup remover is the Simple Kind to eyes, eye makeup remover. I love this product so much! I have always used this, ever since I started to properly wear heavy eye makeup. Every eye makeup comes off easily with this stuff, even waterproof mascara. It is great for sensitive eyes/skin as it doesn't irritate them and it is cheap! It is £3.39 in Boots.
The deodorants I chose were from Dove. I buy sprays rather than roll ons/sticks, as I find them too sticky. At the moment in Boots, Dove deodorants are 2 for £3, which is why I purchased 2. I bought the Dove Beauty finish - beauty mineral enriched anti-perspirant deodorant and the Dove Go fresh - Cucumber & green tea scent anti-perspirant deodorant. I have used these in the past and have loved them. Dove deodorants do smell nice and keep you dry all day. They say that they work for 48h but I would say that they do work for more like 24h. I have just finished using a Soft & Gentle deodorant which I will be talking about in a future Empties post.
Are there any staple toiletries/skin care/body products that you will always use? If so, leave me a comment.
Bye xxx
