Top five under £5 - Eye products

Next in my three-part series of amazing products under £5, I am focusing on makeup products for your eyes. There are a lots of eye products available from the drugstore that are good, but these are my personal favourites. For this post, I have chosen a great eyeshadow palette brand, a mascara, a eyeliner, a cream shadow stick and a liquid eyeliner pen.

Product One - MUA Eyeshadow palettes £4 each
For this one, I couldn't just pick one eyeshadow palette from them. I have shown a selection of MUA palettes that I own and a few swatches from the Undress me too palette, which is my most loved palette by MUA. These palettes have great pigmentation and blend easily on the lid. The Undressed and Undress me too palettes are dupes for the Urban Decay Naked 1 & 2. So these MUA palettes are a great starter palettes for people who want the UD palettes, but are unsure how to use eyeshadow just yet. I have full reviews already of the Undress me too palette and the Romantic Efflorescence palette.

Product Two - Primark Volumising Mascara £1
Now, this is a great and not-so-great mascara. For slightly volumised daytime lashes, it's a great mascara. For super volumised dramatic lashes, it's not the one. For me, I either wear this in the day for a natural look, or layer it with another mascara for a more dramatic look. The reason I put this one in my top five is that it's the only under £5 mascara that's not flaked, smudged or worn away during wear. So, for £1, I will keep it in my collection, just for those natural days. Click here, for a full review

Product Three - Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal pencil liner in Nude £3.99
This is one of the best liners I have ever used! I have it in Black & Taupe too. These pencils are great for waterlines, as they don't move. They glide on your waterlines in one stroke, so you don't have to keep going back & forth to get the pigmentation you want. I haven't tried them on the lid but they are a must for your waterline.

Product Four - Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Vintage Blush £3.19
I really like these eyeshadow pencils. You don't have very long blending time, as they set quickly, but they are a great quick shadow if you are in a rush. I tend to use it as a base for eyeshadow more than on it's own, and it layers nicely. This colour is a pretty blush pink/champagne colour and it comes in 5 other colours. I would say that it can separate a little during the day, if you use it on it's own, and the actual pencil can dry up after a few months. But for £3.19, you can't really complain.

Product Five - Primark Felt Eyeliner Pen in Black £1.00
This is such a great liquid eyeliner for such a cheap price. It is really easy to use and comes with a long nib, which helps to get into the inner corner of your eye. I use this pen quite often and I have repurchased it a couple of times. It lasts a long time of the lid, as long as you set it with a black eyeshadow or a transparent powder. A great starter liquid liner pen, for those who are new to a winged liner. A previous review of the liner.

That's my top eye makeup products under £5!
