Lifestyle Thursday - My Top Five: Essential Beauty Products for University (£5 & Under)
Time for another University-based post!
This one is my top five beauty products that I couldn't live without at Uni.
Some, I use for other purposes, not just there intended. However, all of them are staples in my Uni life.
Other University based posts
1 - Nail Polish Remover -
My suggestion: Boots Clean Off Nail Polish Remover £1.30 Boots
Nail Polish Remover is an essential for removing nail polish but it also has many other uses, which makes it an essential in a Uni flat/house/room. Over the past year, I have used it to get scuff marks off of walls/floors, get rid of ink stains from clothing/carpets/bedding and to clean my laptop keyboard (using a cotton bud soaked in the remover).
A great, multi-purpose product.
2 - Vitamin C Tablets -
Vitamin C tablets are incredible for keeping illnesses at bay. My mum gave me some at the beginning of the year but I didn't think I would need them. How wrong was I? I started to notice the difference in my imune system when I forgot to take them for a few days. I would feel slugish/sick but would perk up when I continued to take the tablets again. They are just a great way to help keep illnesses at bay. Just as a side note, they didn't stop me from becoming ill, just ill less frequently as I always catch every cold/cough/bug!
3 - Dry Shampoo -
My suggestion: Batiste Dry Shampoo £2.99 Boots
What a life saver dry shampoo is! For those days where you just don't have time to wash your hair, or for those last minute nights out when you don't have long to get ready; dry shampoo is a uni student life saver! I go through so many cans of this, it's unreal!
4 - Baby Shampoo -
My suggestion: Johnson's Baby Shampoo £1.00 Poundland
Baby shampoo. Yes, baby shampoo. I use this for cleaning my make up brushes, cleaning sick out of carpets/clothing, cleaning dirty walls and removing food stains. You can also use it if you run out of handwash, washing up liquid and normal shampoo.
It's such a cheap product that I don't see why you wouldn't buy it!

5 - Baby Wipes -
My suggestion: Pampers Unscented Wipes £1.00 Poundland
When I first moved into halls, my mum provided me with baby wipes and I was extremely confused. But I am so happy that she did, as I have used them for cleaning my room, cleaning my bathroom and removing makeup from my face when I am quite drunk (too drunk to use micellar water/cleansing balms!). I always have a packet in my bedside drawer.
And those are My Top Five: Essential Beauty Products for University.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this post.
Do any of you have any different uses for these products?
