Fashion Friday - Summer Fashion Trends: From Catwalk to Highstreet.
Today's post in quite a long one, so grab a cup of tea and get comfortable! I thought that now Summer is officially here and lots of people are shopping for holiday clothes, I would show you how to create Catwalk Trends on a Highstreet budget! I took the 6 top trends (Orange, Crop Tops, Sheer, Monochrome, Fringing & Floral) and 'shopped the Highstreet' for you.

Orange

Orange is a huge trend not only in fashion but in the beauty world too. Orange lips were popular on the Catwalks and there are plenty of options in the Drugstore so that you can try this trend at home. Fashion-wise, you can be bold with dresses/co-ords or just try out this trend through accessories & footwear. I think orange is a great tan-enhancer and is a stylish summer colour for all skin types.

Crop Tops
Crop tops may seem scary for curvier girls, but you can be surprised with how they can suit many different body shapes, as long as you wear the right items with it. As a curvier girls myself, I love wearing crop tops with high waisted skirts so that it high-lights my small waist. Crop tops are perfect for day and night time outfits so I think that every girl should try a crop top at least once in their life, even if they layer a long vest top underneath it.

Sheer panels and sheer clothing are a great way to add edgy-ness and sexy-ness to a simple outfit. From sheer socks to full-on sheer trouser legs, any amount of sheer doesn't seem too much, as long as you keep it 'classy' with the other pieces of your outfit, i.e. sheer leg trousers with an opaque t-shirt.
Monochrome

The classic Monochrome that suits everyone. I adore monochrome outfits and think that they are a simple way to look effortlessly stylish. Monochrome is perfect for all-year round but there are some gorgeous summer monochrome printed kimonos and dresses for this season. You can even add a touch of monochrome to a simple brightly coloured shift dress, through heels and a bag.
You can never go wrong with a bit of monochrome!

Fringing is always a huge trend in the summer time because it is festival season! Fringing is the ultimate festival trend that Miss Kate Moss loves to be seen in. From fringed bags to fringed leather jackets, this trend can easily be found on the highstreet. If you are scared to try a bit of fringing, just try a necklace or pair of sandals first to break you into the trend. If you are feeling a bit brave, why not try a fringed maxi dress or crop top? There are fringed items for everyone!

Of course Floral print is a summer trend! I will be shocked when it isn't on the catwalk during Spring/Summer. However, florals doesn't always mean girlie. Yes, you can look girlie in a little tea dress but you can also grunge up florals. Daisy print is a great grungy floral print and always looks amazing with a 90s tattoo choker and a pair of flatforms. Sometimes, florals can be a bit daunting, so maybe try out a floral bag or pair of shoes first. Floral co-ord seem to be huge too this summer, so if you are feeling brave, why not give one a go?

Good article. Thank for sharing. Those Crop tops look so good. I would like to buy one or some of them from here into my wardrobe to expand Mine. Btw i got my Crop Tops from this stop because it always stocks an extensive range of crop tops.
