The Spring/Summer trend of luxe loungewear has been one of my favourite trends of the season, and it also seems to be the favourite of many celebrities like Rihanna and Jessica Alba. So much so, that I think it is here to stay, during Autumn/Winter 2016.
This trend is all about loungewear but with a luxe approach, which means pyjama style silhouettes and simple slip shapes, that are wearable anytime of the day. Silk and lace are the key fabrics to the trend, with occasional accents of fur to give a 90s/slumber party vibe.

To take this trend from SS to AW, layering is key. Layering a thin turtleneck or t-shirt underneath a silk cami top, pyjama shirt or slip dress, will add warmth during the colder months. Layering tights, leather jacket and boots with a silk slip dress, gives a Courtney Love/grunge vibe, whilst making this trend work for the AW.
The pyjama suit plays a huge part in this trend, but it can be daunting to wear a full set of pyjamas outside of the house. You can take either the top or bottoms, if you are scared to wear both at the same time. A silky pyjama top tucked into jeans, or silky pyjama bottoms with a basic t-shirt, is an effortless outfit that also gives a nod to this trend.

I would just have fun with this trend. Personally, I think it can be easy to add touches of it within your wardrobe. The highstreet is full of amazing examples and I have chosen some below for you, along with some catwalk/celeb inspiration.

This is such sexy trend and I believe that anyone can work this trend, day and night.
Just have the confidence to give it a try!

L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation £14.99 Boots
Over the past year or so, cushion foundations have been appearing from many different brands, after the Asian ones were hyped up by bloggers. I can see why they were hyped up; they are perfect for on-the-go touch ups, perfect size for travel and they come in super cute packaging.
I knew it wasn't going to take long for popular makeup brands to start creating these, and I was super excited to try one! When I saw this one by L'Oreal in my local Boots store, I knew I had to buy and test it out!

I picked up the lightest shade available, which is Porcelain, as I am very pale. There are 7 shades to choose from, which isn't a massive range to choose from, so you might have a bit of trouble finding the right shade. I would say that Porcelain is light but not really light enough for most pale girls out there. I can make it work if I blend down the neck well, and use a lighter concealer to highlight & balance out my face. So just a warning to the pale girls out there; I would swatch it first to see how it matches to you. However, they are more yellow toned when swatched on the arm/hand, than when they are on your face.

Coverage-wise, it actually gave me more than I thought it would. I would say that it is a light to medium coverage, as you can build it up easily in the places you need more coverage. To start off with, I tried to use the sponge applicator it came with, but I am just not a fan of applying foundation like that. Instead, I use either my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge or Buffing Brush with this foundation. It gives me an even base and the yellow tone actually helps to minimise the redness on my face. I have dry skin, and I found that this gave me a glowy yet semi matte appearance, which I would personally call a satin finish. It also didn't show off any of my dryness or flaky skin, like some foundations do.

The packaging is really cute, with a purple metallic case, that is plastic, but it does feel quite sturdy. The mirror is quite a good size, especially if you wanted to use it on-the-go for touch ups. The only thing that lets it down for me is that you can't see how much product there is, so you wouldn't be able to see when you were running out. I do think that you probably don't get as much product in this compact, than if you were using a bottled foundation, which means that you will probably run out faster.

Overall, I really like this foundation. It gave me a natural finish, with the right amount of coverage for me, as I don't like a heavy coverage. I found that it wears quite well, and lasts well on my dry skin, but I'm not sure it would on oily skin. However, you are able to build it up and 'tap-tap' more product on, if it was fading off during the day. I would say for the price, it's a good foundation but I would maybe only purchase it when it is on offer, as it is a little more expensive than most drugstore/highstreet foundations.
All-in-all, I like this foundation, and I would probably repurchase it at some point, but maybe not straight away. If you are lucky to find a decent colour match, I would 100% recommend trying this foundation out.

Have any of you tried this foundation?

As my graduation day is fast approaching and so is many others, I thought that I would share some outfit ideas, as it can be difficult to decide on what to wear. I have my outfit already sorted, which you will be having a blog post about after my graduation day, but I thought that I would share 6 different looks for people who might be stuck with what to wear.
These are just ideas, but you can find alternatives for whatever your budget may be. As long as your outfit is semi-formal and comfortable, you will be find. The only tips I would give you are to make sure you can walk in your heels, if you are wearing some, and don't try something new on the day. Your graduation day isn't the day you want to start experimenting with your style.

After seeing many different Youtubers and Bloggers rave about this concealer for a long time, I knew I would have to try it. It's been in my collection for a while, but I just never got round to using it. Well, that's until about 2 months ago!

The shade I ordered from Amazon was Light Ivory, which is the second lightest shade available. It's an alright match for my pale skin, but I think I would buy Porcelain next time, as I like to use a lighter concealer under my eyes, which is where I mainly use it. Currently, I only use Light Ivory on my blemishes/redness and use a different concealer under my eyes.

I would say that it is medium-to-full coverage, which is amazing for a budget concealer. The only other budget friendly concealer, that I know of, that has the same amount of coverage is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. Even with this amount of coverage, it doesn't feel heavy or cakey, and it doesn't crease on me. I have read, however, that it does crease on some people, so it does depend on if concealer normally creases on you or not.

My only negative thought on this concealer is the packaging. I'm just not a fan of the squeezy tube and brush. I feel like the product is quite difficult to get out of the tube and into the brush. Sometimes, you can end up squeezing too hard whilst trying to get the product out, and end up with more concealer than is needed. I much prefer a doe-foot applicator for concealer. However, the packaging won't stop me from using this product. It's just a little annoying.

Overall, I would 100% recommend this concealer, if you can easily get your hands on it. In the UK, it's a bit more challenging, and I ended up ordering it from Amazon.
With a wide range of skintone shades and correctors; you are bound to find a match. I am definitely going to repurchasing it, but it the lightest shade.

Have you tried this concealer? What were you thoughts?
Also, what is your favourite concealer?

Over the weekend, the baby shower I have been planning for 2 months, finally happened!
So, I thought that I would share with you some photos from my sister's baby shower, as I am so happy with how it looked & went. It had a slight Winnie-the-pooh theme, and splashes of blue in the decoration, as she is having a boy.
Enjoy!
