Today, I am showing you how I get myself summer ready. This whole routine is something I do every Sunday in the summer, as I couldn't do everything in the video everyday. It would take me hours to get ready everyday!
This GRWM doesn't include a summer make up look or any summer fashion, as next Monday, I will be posting a summer make up look and the Friday after that, I will be posting a summer lookbook.

So enjoy this video of how I get my body, skin and hair ready for summer.
FYI, I am as pale as Casper the Friendly Ghost and I like it that way, so no fake tan for me!

Today's post in all about my current top five nail polishes for summer. Now, these are from my own collection and are the top 5 polishes I am currently reaching for. I always like the idea of painting my nails but doing such a 'hands on' university course, I can't really paint my finger nails during term time. So when summer comes around, I fall back in love with painting my nails. Well, I say my nails but I wear fake nails as mine don't really grow anymore. Too many years of biting my nails have led them to not grow very fast.
Right now, I am letting my finger nails have a rest from polish (and fake nails) but I have the blue shade in my top 5, on my toes.

After showing you guys how I organised my nail polishes, I thought you would like to see my nail polish collection!
I tend to throw out nail polishes quite often, as I go off colours or the polish goes funny. I don't paint my finger nails often as I am always on a sewing machine etc, but I do like to paint them when I have a large amount of time off. Most of my polishes get used on my toes, as I like to keep my toe nails painted!

So here is a video of my entire nail polish collection!

Hope you enjoyed this video and blog post.

For me, finding somewhere to store my nail polishes has been difficult. I live between my family home and my uni home throughout the year, so I needed a storage solution which can be used as a travel case for them too. They live in my uni room most of the time, but in the summer, they need to be travelled back to my family home. The case I store them in is from ebay. It is a metal box which has a lock on it. I bought this case a long time ago so I doubt that it is still avaliable. Sorry! But I am sure you could get something similar on ebay if you search for metal vanity cases.

Right, today's blogmas post is going to be a short one as I am currently trying to finish my uni work!
Anyway, I thought that I would show you my current NOTD, which is this beautiful burgundy colour from Illamasqua. This is polish is one of the best I have ever used. It lasts so long and is so pigmented. I am in love with it! For me, it is the most perfect AW colour, without being too festive.

Illamasqua polish in Unnatural, £14.50

I am going to a Hen party this weekend, which has a punk theme. So, I decided to paint my nails in a stand out colour instead of the traditional pink/black/red punk colours. I chose to do my ring finger black matte and my other fingers lime green.
The lime green is from Barry M, shade 137. The black is Avon matte nailwear, shade 'black as night'. The topcoat/basecoat is Barry M clear topcoat/basecoat/hardener.

Last month, I ordered a gel eyeliner, eyeliner brush, nail art tips and lip-liner, and today, they arrived. I will be doing an in-depth review once I have tried the products out.

I ordered these nail tips which have a pink/white/black leopard print on them. They were £1.50 because they were on offer in the last book. They just stick on the ends of your nails for a unique french manicure. I can't wait to try these out on my fake nails.

I did a little bit of shopping today, woops! So, let's get started and go through my new purchases!

Firstly, I went to Office and purchased a new pair of Converse. I wanted a new pair for the summer and this olive green colour will go with loads of things in my wardrobe. So excited to start styling these up! They were £44.99 but Office had a 15% discount on in-store, so I got them for £38.24.

I then went to Topshop and purchased three pairs of lace topped socks and a new cropped jumper. The socks were in the three for £8 deal and the jumper was in the sale for £18. However, I used my student discount card and got 10% off them.
The socks each have lace on the top. Black socks with black lace, white socks with white lace and olive socks with cream lace.
The jumper has really long sleeves and is cropped. The colour is a dark red/burgundy. I think my new converse are going to look really good with the jumper too. It's super soft and comfortable.
