My essential winter/festive make up
I thought some of you might be interested in the different make up products I am currently reaching for, during this festive/winter/autumnal season.
So, here it is. Enjoy!
Eye products
MUA Undressed & Undress me too palettes £4 each
Both of these palettes are great for the day and for shimmery/sparkly night out looks.
A good black gel/cream liner is an essential for the party season cat-eye flick.
CK Tempting glimmer creme shadow in sage shimmer £1 Poundland
One of my favourite products at the moment for a copper/red eye base, which is very on trend this season.
A great shadow product which blends easy for a quick night out look, if you haven't got much time. The navy blue is a nice alternative to black, if you find black too harsh.
I am loving this mascara at the moment, as it is good for the windy/rainy/snowy weather. The waterproof element will help the mascara to stay in all weathers.
Face products
This blush is a stunning autumnal colour with a lovely gold rose tint to it. Great for everyday and for evening looks.
This is an essential for me, for the up-and-coming party season. This products helps to keep my make up in place for as long as I need it.
Now, I would normally only use this to give my face a shimmer in the summer, but I think a highlighted cheekbone would look lovely for a party look.
Nail products
All I can say is, who doesn't love a sparkly nail in the festive season?
This is one of my favourite red polishes and a great bright Santa Claus red!
Normally, I stick to dark colours, shimmers and red tones during the AW, but I fell in love with this colour at the end of the summer, and the love affair continues. I think a white nail could look really festive.
This is a lovely dark burgundy colour, even though the photo doesn't give that impression. It's such a gorgeous dark colour which is a perfect AW colour.
I love the Gelly polishes by Barry M and this one is one of my favourites for AW. A navy nail can be a nice alternative to a black nail, which most people like to do.
Lip products
I have been reaching for this more and more recently. Pink is such a huge trend this season so I thought that it would be fitting to put a bright pink lip product in. This one is great as it is a moisturising balm too for cold days.
Now, a nude lip can be a great thing to do if you are wearing a heavy eye look. This gloss stick smells amazing and feels super moisturising on the lips, a great thing for colder days.
Dior Addict Ultra-gloss reflect in Red Stocking 757 (discontinued, sorry!)
Right, I am sorry that I have included this, as it has been discontinued. However, I have been in a love affair with this lip gloss for years! I even stocked up on it when I heard that it was going to be discontinued! It's a great bright red gloss/laqauer, with a hint of shimmer. Perfect for the party season.
I adore the colour of this lipstick so much! I love wearing it on its own and mixing it with other colours to darken them. Such a great dark colour for AW.
Finally, a gorgeous matte red colour, perfect for day and night. This product is amazing as it stains your lips, which means that it lasts all day! A long lasting product is just what you want for a night out!
Well, I hope you liked this post and I will see you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 5!
Bye
