I thought that I would do a mini series of AW 2013 trends posts as high street stores are getting their AW collections in. I am going to look at each trend from London Fashion Week (feb/march 2013) and show you how to create the trend on the highstreet/online.

Pink was seen all over the catwalks way back in feb/march time for this season. The pink hue of the season - Dusty pink. From Miu Miu to Jonathan Saunders, the catwalk was awash with pink. It's not a traditional AW colour and not the easy colour to master, so remember this when buying dusty pink items! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of dusty pink but I might give it a try with slight hints of it. I doubt that I will be buying a dusty pink coat this season! But for some people, it might be their favourite trend of the season. What is great about this trend is that you can take your pastel pink items from SS13 and layer them for AW.

Pink wasn't in the beauty/catwalk trends but it is a simple way to add pink into your look, if you are afraid of wearing the colour. The light, dusty pinks aren't for everyone so don't force yourself to try this trend. But if you would like to try this trend but are afraid of a pink coat, then try a pair of shoes or a nice scarf instead.
