Beauty Monday - My Current Mascara collection.
I am a self-confessed mascara addict! Mascara is my favourite makeup product and I couldn't live without it. It is something I wear everyday, even if I am not doing anything. It just instantly makes you look awake and draws your attention to your eyes, away from any face demons!
Because of my love for mascara and wanting to try as many tubes as possible, I seem to have a collection of mascaras that may seem a little ridiculous as I only have one set of eyes! Obviously, there are people out there with more mascaras than this and, more than likely, a lot less mascaras than this. But, I seem to wear all of these mascaras as I like to rotate them. Some get used more than others, but I really like my current collection of mascaras.
The first mascara I am going to talk about is the Primark P.S. LOVE black volumising mascara. For a cheap mascara, it actually is decent. I have a more in-depth review and I still agree with everything I wrote in it. However, now that the mascara is a bit drier/older, you can build it up better for a tiny bit more volume. But, I wouldn't call it a great voluming mascara but a nice mascara for a daytime look.
The AVON SuperSHOCK BRIGHTS mascara in Violet Shock is a new mascara in my collection. I love the SuperSHOCK formula and I can't wait to fully test this mascara to see if the colour stops the formula from working. Expect a full review soon!
The Benefit They're Real mascara (black) is well-loved in the beauty blogging world and is a well-loved mascara in my collection. I have a sample size that came in a gift set and now I want the full-sized version. I'm always wanting big volumised lashes for nights out and this mascara is the one that I reach for everytime. The only downfall is that it is a b***h to remove.
AVON Super Enchant mascara (black) is one of the oldest ones in my collection and is great for natural days. I have a review already of it and I still agree, I wish I could still buy it! When I purchased it, it was being discontinued. Such a disapointing moment for me, as I still really like it.
I have quite a few AVON mascaras! The Super Extend Extreme mascara (black) is a nice mascara that I seem to be using more and more recently. When I first tried this mascara, I found that it was too wet and smudge everywhere! But now that it has dried slightly, it doesn't smudge and extends the lashes nicely. It won't give you volume or curl, but if you have short lashes, like me, it does a great job extending them. I usually put a volumisng mascara on after this, to get the desire look. I would say that it is a perfect bottom lash mascara though.
AVON SuperSHOCK MAX mascara is one of my favourite mascaras. I adore the original SuperSHOCK and this version equally. I have a review of a version of the SuperSHOCK mascara already. This version gives me amazing long, volumised lashes that don't look clumpy. I reach for this mascara all the time for day and night looks.
Another new mascara in my collection is the Rimmel Kate Moss Rockin' Curves mascara in Sapphire. I have used this a couple of times but I still feel like a need to test it a bit more before I review it on here. I am not amazed by it yet, but I am willing to give it another shot. Keep a look out for the review.
Another AVON mascara! I think I might have an addiction to AVON mascaras! This mascara, AVON MEGA effects in black, is so different to the rest, as you can see, and can be quite difficult to master. However, once you master it, it is an amazing mascara. The brush allows you to get to the roots of your lashes easily and extends them, whilst volumising them too. It doesn't clump and is great for bottom lashes too, if you have trouble with smudging on the bottom lash line. If you are interested in this mascara, my tip is to not give up after the first try. Practise different ways of using the brush and you will learn how to use it properly.
And that is my collection.
I hope you enjoyed reading and having a browse through. Most likely, I will be buying a new mascara soon as I just can't stop buying them!
